END THE FSD POP-UP
SIGNATURES
One tap. No account. No email.

You take back control.
Then the screen quizzes you.

After Full Self-Driving disengages, a survey covers part of the screen. It cannot be swiped away. It appears at the exact moment a driver needs full focus.

Our ask: remove the pop-up.

COMMUNITY GUIDE

What drivers say helps

Safety first. Do not use the touchscreen while the car is moving. Keep your eyes on the road. Deal with the pop-up when it is safe to do so.

1. Double-tap the mic

Some owners report that a quick double tap on the mic button dismisses the prompt without choosing an answer. Updates may change this.

2. Answer later

The prompt stays until you answer. Wait for a safe moment, then pick an option or dismiss it. Do not do it at speed.

3. Add your voice here

Sign the petition and write one sentence on the wall. Numbers and real stories are what get noticed.

4. Spread the word

Share this page in owner groups and forums. Every signature counts once per browser.

About this petition

This site is an independent, volunteer-run effort. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. Tesla, Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, Cybertruck and Full Self-Driving are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.

  • What we ask: Tesla should remove the “Why did you intervene?” pop-up that appears after FSD disengages, or make it dismissible and non-blocking.
  • Why: the prompt asks for attention at the moment a driver has just taken back control. Safety should come first.
  • What the numbers mean: signatures are self-reported. We do not verify that signers own a Tesla. Each browser can sign once, and we limit repeated submissions to keep the count honest.

PRIVACY

Privacy

  • We do not ask for your name, email or any account.
  • When you sign, we store one anonymous random ID cookie in your browser, the time, and the car model if you choose one. The ID only stops duplicate signatures.
  • Your poll vote, wall posts and likes are linked only to that random ID.
  • Wall posts are public. Do not post personal information.
  • Feedback is private. If you add an email or handle, we store it with your message so we can reply. We never publish it.
  • Your IP address is used briefly in memory to limit spam. We do not save it in our database. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare may log IP addresses as part of normal operation.
  • If we suspect automated abuse, we may show a Cloudflare Turnstile check. Real visitors normally never see it.
  • No ads. No analytics. No third-party trackers.
  • To remove a wall post, write to [email protected] with the text of the post.
